Hi there! Who are you and what do you do for your team?
Hi! I’m Kooriiko, the director and founder of Dicesuki. I’m the creator of Cinderella Phenomenon and is in charge of the art (except the background images). I also did some writing, script programming and GUI.
Can you describe what Cinderella Phenomenon is about?
Cinderella Phenomenon is a story of a bitter and cold hearted princess named Lucette who became the recipient of the infamous Fairytale Curse. To break her curse, she must do three good deeds.
Where did you get the idea for the project? Any particular inspirations?
Cinderella Phenomenon’s concept was originally made by my best friend, Akirei34, but the protagonist was a prince and the one we all know as Fritz. We originally started this as a manga 7 years ago but then we dropped it after a few pages. So a few years later, I asked Akirei’s permission to turn it into an otome game instead but this time, I did all the conceptualization of the story myself, retaining some of the characters from the manga.
What was your favorite part of working on the project?
Well, every part was really fun for me, but since I’m more of an artist than a writer or a programmer, then I can 100% say that I enjoyed drawing all the arts the most.

Least favorite?
Editing and proofreading was hell.

Have you worked on other projects? How did they help you prepare for Cinderella Phenomenon?
The group released our first otome game, Locked Heart, prior to working on Cinderella Phenomenon so we already have some experience on making visual novels. I can say that we’ve learned so much through Locked Heart and we did our best to make sure Cinderella Phenomenon would be a better game than our previous title.

Who’s your favorite character?
Now that’s… a difficult question. Since I was the one who made all the characters, they all have a special place in my heart and I love every one of them. But I’m probably biased for Waltz, mostly because I was the one who wrote his route.
Which suitor would you date?
Hands down. Waltz.
Do you have any future projects we can look forward to?
Lots of them! We already have the Cinderella Phenomenon fandisk which will be released later this year, and after that, we have another big project which will be led by our writer, Tajina. We actually already have so many game ideas in our list and we’re hoping to bring them all to life someday!
